In the second quarter of 2022, the top five iOS shooter games in Nigeria showcased varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each of these popular titles fared during the period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Call of Duty®: Mobile saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $18.7K at the end of March and seeing a low of around $4.9K by the end of May. Weekly downloads started at about 2.9K in late March and steadily increased, reaching a high of approximately 5.2K by the end of June. The game’s weekly active users showed a slight decline from around 14.7K to 13.4K, with a mid-quarter dip to approximately 11.2K.

Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games experienced modest weekly revenue, peaking at around $427 in early April. Weekly downloads showed an upward trajectory, starting at approximately 2.2K in late March and reaching around 4.6K by the end of June. The weekly active users saw a consistent increase from about 17.1K to 25.9K over the quarter.

Apex Legends Mobile, which launched in mid-May, had its highest weekly revenue of about $1.3K during its release week. Downloads started strong at approximately 8.2K but dropped to around 613 by the end of June. Weekly active users also declined from about 7K in mid-May to approximately 2.8K by the end of June.

Free Fire: 7th Anniversary maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.4K by the end of June. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 1.1K to 1.5K mark. The game’s weekly active users showed a slight increase from about 2.5K to approximately 2.9K over the quarter.

Left to Survive: Zombie Games had a relatively lower revenue performance, peaking at around $243 in early May. Weekly downloads saw a significant spike to approximately 1.9K at the end of May but fell to around 462 by the end of June. The weekly active users had a notable peak of about 5.1K in early June, followed by a sharp decline to approximately 1.7K by the end of the quarter.
